Chassis:
For the 1979 Procar Championship, this M1 was delivered new to Franz Konrad Racing. After being raced in the 1979 series by Konrad himself, it was sold to German team Kannacher GT-Racing Team. During the 1980 and 1981 seasons, it was raced extensively in over 30 events by the likes of Ralf-Dieter Schreiber, Jurgen Lassig, Volker Strycek and Jurgen Kannacher himself. Hans Heyer acquired the car in 1982 and leased to the GS Racing Team, who campaigned the car in a further 15 races. He retained the car through to 2005 when it was acquired by Belgian historic racer Marc Devis. He had the car restored by specialist Graber Sportgarage to full running order. Chassis 4301066 was then raced by him and Christian Traber until 2010 in historic events. The subsequent owner continued the race the car and then offered it for sale at Graber Sportgarage in the summer of 2017. The M1 Procar was then acquired by a British historic racer, who had ADP Motorsports perform another complete restoration. It returned to race track during the 2023 season.
